I’ve been working on new projects, and I’ve decided to offer food photography. Food photography is very meticulous and there is a lot involved with making food look it’s best. I’m enjoying learning about it and looking forward to more food work.
I’ve been doing photos for a local cupcake shop, Cupcakes N Crema. You can see some of what I’m doing on my food portfolio page.

My friend Sam and I have finally launched our film group Adroit Cinema. We just completed our first official Adroit short film: One Cow Town
It’s a spaghetti-western inspired short music film. It was initially supposed to be a music video, but it evolved into more of a short film as we shot and edited it. We ended up doing a few hours of pickup shooting, narration, and titles to make a more coherent story. But ultimately, this piece is about the feel rather than the story.
Hi Everyone,
Looking for a Christmas card photo? I’m offering Family Photo Days this November, just in time for Christmas. Photo Days are discounted blocks of time where I am already at a location. You choose a block(s) of time, and meet me at the given location. This November, I’ll be doing two photo days at Yokuts Park. After the photos are finished, you will be emailed a link and password to your private online gallery where you can purchase downloads and prints.

Contact me to set your session length and time slot before filling in the form. Also let me know how many people you will have, and what photos you want.
Download the Photo Days form for more information. Bring the completed form to your session along with payment.

Here’s another video the company did for IN[Focus], it’s a “cribs” style video of the HDM/Lovestruck Films office. Yeah, my job pretty much rocks.
“You will get a glimpse of what goes on inside the walls of our Southern California production house, meet our full time staff, and maybe learn some tips along the way!”

Obviously catching up on things that have been posted elsewhere for a while… Here’s another tutorial we did on blemishes.

Here’s another After Effects tutorial I’ve done at work. This one is about fixing a dirty lens in post, it’s fast and easy. First, Andrew talk about keeping your lens clean in the first place.

I’ve made my first After Effects tutorial, and it’s been published on the In[Focus] blog as part of a blog post we did at work. This is an HDM thing, not my personal tutorial, but it’s me doing it. I’m sure I’ll be doing more tutorials in the future, if there is anything you would like to see a tutorial on let me know. Enjoy!

“In this tutorial we will demonstrate how it is possible to remove a person (in this case a photographer) from a moving shot using simple rotoscoping techniques in After Effects. Although this tutorial is 28 minutes long, the technique only takes about 10 minutes to complete…” View this tutorial on the In[Focus] blog.
Well, this is the blog. I’m not much of a blogger, so don’t expect a whole lot to be happening here. But when I do have something to say you’ll know where to look.
